Servers – RAID Controllers

Used Servers deliver the same performance as new devices – at a fraction of the price. All devices are checked and honestly classified as Grade A, Grade B or Grade C.

Grade A is nearly like new with minimal to no signs of use. Grade B shows light scratches or wear but is fully functional. Grade C has more visible signs of use but works fully – and is the most affordable.

On all Servers we provide a 2-year statutory warranty under §476 BGB (German Civil Code). You also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If technical issues arise, we help quickly and without hassle.

Orders placed on business days before 2 pm are shipped the same day. You'll typically receive your order within 1–2 business days – shipping €7.95 within Germany (servers €22.95, rest of EU €14.95).

Yes, of course. We issue invoices with VAT shown separately. For larger quantities (5+ devices) we offer volume discounts. Just email us at info@tannenbaum-media.de.

Rack servers (1U/2U) are designed to be mounted in a 19-inch server rack and save space, but require a rack and are louder in operation. Tower servers look like a large PC tower, can stand freely and are quieter – ideal for an office or homelab without a rack.

Yes, absolutely. A used HPE ProLiant Gen9/Gen10 or Dell PowerEdge R730 with a Xeon CPU and plenty of ECC RAM delivers huge virtualization performance for Proxmox or ESXi – at a fraction of the new price.

iLO (HPE) and iDRAC (Dell) are remote management controllers that let you control the server entirely independent of the operating system through a browser – including a remote console, reboot and hardware monitoring. It's extremely handy for running a server without a monitor or keyboard attached.
